Okay well aqui estoy en Brownsville todavia! We are finally into the routine and things are going smoothly! My District Leader is awesome here! He is the example for how a DL should be fo sho!

We have had the pleasure to meet some pretty amazing members this past week! The relief society has a calender with pretty much everyday of the week filled up on it for us to eat with a different family! We have had the pleasure to eat with the Garza family, Soberanis family, Bravo Family, Hernandez family, Cabanas family, and eso es todo! But ya this week has been pretty great!

It rains like crazy here because we are just like 15 minutes from the gulf! Therefore with rain we get mosquitos! awwww I fetching hate mosquitos! Those little buggers can bite through anything I swear! It is super muddy and a lot of the houses we visited are kinda out in the podunk middle of no where so there's just a ton of mud!

This week the highlight for me has been the privilege to teach the Ibarra family! We began teaching them the Plan of Salvation and were planning on finishing it this week but our follow up lesson got cancelled because the family went to see their sick grandma. So I guess that's an acceptable excuse... :P We stopped by that night to say hey, offered a pray for their sick grandma and then asked them to come to church! It was our last ditch effort in order to reach our goals for investigators at church! Elder Rodriguez and I prayed and fasted that next Sunday the Lord would help the Ibarra family come to church. THE LORD DELIVERED!!!! Oh man when they walked in I was soooo happy!

This sacrament meeting I had the amazingly horrible opportunity to translate for those 2 or 3 people that don't speak Spanish in the Los Fresnos ward! I think it went so bad and they probably left that day only understanding half of the speakers message but oh well. What can ya do?!? But ya it was a great Sunday! After church the YSA branch had a dinner so we stayed and ate! That was just the perfect food to break our fast! wW had nonmexican food!!!!!! Oh man that was just amazing! We had some delicioso brisket sandwiches and they were just oh so scrumdidlyumpcious! After dinner at the church we went to sister Bravos home where we ate some tacitos and listened to her life story! Man she is just an amazing woman. She has it pretty rough but I know that the Lord is preparing a place for her in His kingdom!

This week has been just a pleasure! Oh and we are playing soccer today for p-day!!! Yay! Viva la futbal! Oh man oh man do I love soccer <3 but what!?!?! WRESTLING IS BACK IN THE OLYMPICS!!?! That's just the greatest news ever that a little luchador could ever receive on a marvelous p-day! Gracias por todo lo que hacen para me! Gracias por su amor y oraciones!

Les quiero mucho! Oh yeah and what the heck?!?! I thought I had friends??? Freaking write me people! I don't even care if you just email me but I wanna hear from your faces!

Les quiero muchisimo,
Elder McKee
