HOLA!!!!! How art things in the beautiful happy valley where the flowers bloom and little children skip and play, aka Las Vegas!!!!!! This week unfortunately has been rather uneventful! I wish I could say other wise but yeah. We had a day of service Thursday where we went to Sister Gonzolaz's ranch and cut some grass! She fed us and made fun of us because we didn't want her to cook up some goat eyeballs to eat! She said I'm not a real cowboy :'( I wanna be a cowboy! haha I need some boots and I guess eat some eyes and then I'll be a cowboy? After her house we went to see Sister Soto!!!!!!!! I just love her! We taught her about the importance of having a testimonio fuerte on the Book of Mormon! Without that strong testimony any question in the world is going to shake our testimony! the Book of Mormon is the most important part of this church! It is the fullness of the gospel of Christ that is taught in the Bible!!!!

Another pretty funny story happened when I was working out one morning this week! For workouts I usually go to this huge soccer field and run from goal to goal kicking the ball and stopping every once in a while to do push ups and sit ups! It was time to do sit ups and I picked this fluffy grass patch to do it! So I get down pump out like a trillion push ups and then flip over for sit ups. Before I could even do one sit up I was covered in fire ants and they ate me alive! I have bite marks almost from head to toe! Those little guys must be poisonous or something because they left like pussy blisters :S I hate ants with a passion! If it wasn't for their amazing organization I would obliterate them all from the face of the planet! Their organization deserves some credit! :P

Oh and I got asked to give a talk in Spanish branch!!!!! What the...... I don't know what they were thinking ahaha. I wrote this thing and I expected it to be too short but it was like 15 minutes long! People in the branch told me they liked it and that they could understand so that's good I guess! I spoke on the plan of salvation and then tied in missionary work. I read a story by one of the quorum of the 12 and that talked about a tomato plant. And you grew that tomato plant it would grow lots of tomatoes with lots of seeds. And then you could take those seeds and plant them and repeat the cycle a couple of times and you would have millions of tomatoes! If we as member missionaries do not constantly pray and look for opportunities to do missionary work then possibly millions of people will not have the chance to have the ever lasting gospel of Christ in their lives! You never know what's going to happen or result from you opening your mouth about the gospel so why not just give it a try???

This Sunday was actually a pretty sweet day! Well kinda, we had this investigator Jacob who really wants to change his life around! He is pretty heavily addicted to heroine and pretty much can't get a job or see his kids. So therefore we are going to help him change! And then of course the night before our follow up lesson he gets thrown in jail! BUT.... Jacob's twin brother calls us in church and tells me how he hasn't done drugs for 6 days and how he wants to change, be baptized and be a member of the church! And then he whips out the Book of Mormon and then just starts reading verses! He is pretty out his mind due to the heavy drug us but that's okay. He has good intentions and hopefully with faith and prayer and the power of a priesthood blessing he can have the strength to quit! Another plus is Sammy and Jacob are nephews of my favorite member brother Bryand so he is going to help a ton!

Despues la iglesea fuimos al comer con la familia Weinmuller! They are super nice and are going to give us a referral so that's good :D After that we went to see Sammy! I faded him up!!!!! I swear I am a master with hair clippers! I'm just going to start a barber shop when I get home haha. So yeah that's the highlights of my week! hopefully Sammy's desires are for reals!!!
