Pues... this week has been super slow as far as the work goes! We have to drop Orlando and his family because they will not keep the commitments we give them! So that's pretty sad. They are our only solid investigators!
We found a new kid named Albert. He is 17, Graduated highschool early at 16 and is just a super cool kid. We saw him on the road skateboarding so I went up, busted a kickflip, taught him the gospel of Christ and gave him a Baptismal date for July 28!!!! No big deal. But yeah I hope he has a desire to receive mucho bendiciones en su vida!!!!!!!!! I have come to the conclusion that my comp is a Bible hater! He always says how the Bible is not completely true and he just never reads it. It's so weird! It is amazing I absolutely love the Bible! I love the Bible and the Book of Mormon equally! We run into people all the time that try to convince us that the Book of Mormon isn't true and that it is fake and stuff and then after their rants we just simply ask have you ever read it? And their answer is always no! I know without a single bit of doubt that if anyone in the planet had a sincere desire to know of the books truth and took the time to read it they would build a testimony of the books validity and truths!
About the Fourth of July dad... I did nothing on the Fourth of July because they don't celebrate America's independence here in Mexico!!!!! nah but really though we ate lunch with Sister Valdez from the branch, Mexican food of course, and then right after we got to work!
We went to this guys house named Ernesto and he is super cool. He invited us in and forced us to eat again! He and his friend Marc Anthony told us a bunch of crazy stories of their past gang life and their experiences on the streets. the craziest one of all them was hands down one of marc Anthony's! He has been out of jail for just 5 months now. He served 15 years for murdering 3 people! And the funny thing is, is that he is from Bountiful Utah! As soon as he saw my name tag he asked if I was from Salt Lake! I told him no but my dad is. He is a crazy guy that's for sure!
Thanks for the letters from Grandma McKee and Lexie!!!!!! They mean so much to me! Oh and is Grandma McKee not getting to see these weekly letters!? Please check on that!
I know that this is Christ's true church on the earth today! The spirit that dwells in the halls of the Lords establishments is more than enough proof if you ask me! Fast and testimony meeting here was awesome! A little boy gave such a sweet testimony. His big bro is leaving on his mission and the little boy just got up and started crying and said he is grateful for his bros example and for the church and then left! Please everyone be the best member missionaries as possible! Share this gospel to the ends of the earth!!!!!! These pictures show how hard I am working! (riding a bike and reading at the same time) And then the border patrol is more common than cholos here! Thanks for all your prays! Please pray for me to get my visa!!!
