This week was awesome! We had the opportunity to help Pamela Cornejo and Marcos Conde into the waters of baptism! They are two people who had to struggle through a lot of trials in their conversion.
I love the baptisms and recent converts and investigators that we have because they are all between 18 and 22 years old so it is really easy to relate to them and share things with them. I like teaching people of my age group more than anyone else! The baptism was the best one we have had so far!!!! There were so many people that went that we had to start with the talks and hymns in the chapel and then move to the baptismal room with standing room only! The mission is amazing.
This week we will be busy helping Walter get ready to be baptized! We are going to have to work with him a ton this week because when we went to find him to bring him to church we found him asleep and hung over in his truck from the night before of clubbing! I have faith in him. He is a beast, he is reading the Book of Mormon for his second time right now. He understands everything so clearly and I love it. He is by far my favorite person to teach!
One of our challenges this week will be to find new investigators. We had a bunch but they are all just about baptized so when we are done with walter we will have almost nobody! We did reactivate an old investigative family. They stopped progressing because the dad left looking for work so they couldn't really progress without him. I'm excited to get them back on track. Elder Acevedo always told me how awesome the family was! I'm out of time. I love you guys! Take care!
