Hey mom! Yeah, lots of interesting news this week!! I continue having diarrhea!! And it's awesome!! I have been losing a ton of weight so hopefully once I can get plugged up then I'll keep this weight off and I won't just inflate like a balloon.
In other news, I'm super nervous cuz President Bowler called me yesterday after church and told me he was going to give me a special assignment if I was feeling up to it. I told him I was fine and so he told me that the assignment is that there is an Elder here in the field that is very hard to work with and he wants me to try to help this elder straighten out a bit. I'm nervous!!! I know who he is and it's gonna be rough! Sometimes I don't know if President loves me or hates me because he is really good at giving me special assignments that have to deal with babysitting challenging people.
The work, however, is accelerating!! This Saturday I received permission to go through the temple with one of my very first converts so she can be endowed. I am so happy to see that Mariela after so much time has continued progressing!! I'm so excited to have been a part in this change of life she's going through and I hope that after she leaves to serve in the mission that she will bless the lives of many!! I have truly come to know that a baptism is like an apple and it holds countless seeds. Each seed can grow to become its own tree and one day that tree will also give fruits. It's like a ripple and it will never end.
God is perfect and his glory is eternal! I love my Father in Heaven and I hope that every day I can please him. I know that this church is true and that all who believe on His name and follow His steps will be exalted in the last day.
